I do technical things...

Rigs

All rigs shown below are my own work and are only to be used for non commercial projects.

This is a "pseudo" game rig that I created a while back. I used this as a test-bed to, develop a library of rigging scripts, as a bit of research into usability and interaction and, of course, to create a cool rig. I've had this guy laying about for well over a year now, so I thought I'd share him to the world. He comes with some supporting files to set-up extra functionality, so make sure you checkout the read-me for install guidelines. It's very simple, I promise.

Obligatory rig check-list:
    Full right mouse button implementation

GUI

Parent switching
    Ik/Fk switching

Full joint driven face set-up

Dynamics implementation

Structured selection sets

Stretchy limbs (not really needed I guess :D
    Knee/elbow pinning

This rig was made in Maya 2009, I'm pretty sure the right mouse scripts won't work with QT, so if your on Maya 2011 you'll probably have to do without that. Until I get around to seeing if I can get them to work. This rig is for non commercial use only.

I hope you have fun with him.

I created this rig in 2007. This was a rig I used to improve my knowledge of anatomy, deformation and of course rigging. I wanted to get some 'realistic' muscle deformation using out of the box techniques. It's been available online for a while now, here, but I thought I'd post it here too.

This is one of the first full rigs I created in Maya, back in 2006, when I was still learning rigging. He's a pretty simple style of character, basically just a ball, with some facial expressions, limbs and squash and stretch. It's available on creative crash here too.  Maybe I'll re-visit this guy soon and spruce him up a bit. But he's still cool!

Happy Animating!
